Simply Great wisdom!

Its a great book, the content is of greater importance to the mature and maturing Christians alike. People need to know how to pray and to know that its ONLY BY THE WORD (double adged sword of the holyspirit) that we as Christians can effectively fight and also win the battle agaist satan and his agents. The word!

This book is so good, it even has scriptures to read along with the powerful prayer points. The author was right, after I said some of the prayer points in this book, my life has been sealed with God's protection and blessing. It is a must have for anyone learning how to pray.

Breakthroughs!!

This book was wonderful it was very well written. The subjects dealt with situations that people encounter, and how to pray to remove those walls, and break free from those issues. The prayer points weren't too long, and i like that!! It's a thick book, and i would definately recommend this book. The price doesn't compare to the benefit you get from this book. The author is awsome.

I Need book two like NOW!!!!

When I read His Secret Muse: An Alpha Billionaire Romance there was a lot of mention of Silent Daughter which was written by the MC Cedric, then I heard that Stella Noir and Linnea May were writing it I could wait for it to be released and when I was given the opportunity to receive an ARC of it I was thrilled. I wanted to see and understand what all the talk was about and I am so happy that it was much, much more then I thought it would be.

Liz is the black sheep in the family, she is the youngest of three sisters and her parents had hoped she would be a boy...maybe that is why they are so distant when it comes to her. She also didn't go to an IVY league school like her sisters and parents had she decided to go a college that her parents didn't think was anything special. Her sisters are married/engaged to men that her parents both adore. But Liz is the quiet, strange sister that keeps her distance from everyone and doesn't speak much. OH and did I mention that she is KINKY! I wonder what her sisters would say about that. She is PERFECT for Leonard. He knows that the instant he notices the rope burns around her ankles....now he just needs to make her his.
This book leaves you with a cliffhanger but the second one is due out soon. This was an AMAZING beginning to the story of Liz and Leonard.

1st of 3 parts of a dark, erotic romance.

Read this book through kindle unlimited.
Hmm, I wasn't sure if I'd like this book. It seems I usually either really love or hate the book when I read dark erotic romances. I LIKED the book- but I wouldn't say LOVE. I may have rated this closer to 4 stars but for a couple reasons. First, the book needs a better editor to read through it. It wasn't terrible but it was distracting at times. Also, I really don't like how authors separate one regular size book into parts when frankly there's no need except possibly financially for the author. I will say though that I appreciate the author does let everyone know in amazon's description that the books are part of a cliffhanger/installment series. I also appreciate that the overall cost for the series is reasonable (currently $0.99 each or $2.98 for the three part series which combined is around 250-300 pgs).
This book is written in first person and alternates between the hero and heroines' Pov. It's a little hard to make a comment and describe this book when you only get the first 1/3 of the story. So far I like the story and I'm intrigued. It's hard to know though whether I'll like the full book. I'm going to keep reading particularly because I'm a kindle unlimited member and can read the books through it for "free". Heat level is 9 (1=Christian, 5=fade to block and 10=pure erotica). I imagine the book will be closer to 9.5 in the next book.

Well edited, unoriginal, and in need of more meat on its bones

This should probably have been published as a full book. What we have is the scene setting for a capture fantasy and little else. Leonard is not fully developed - so he comes off as a borderline sociopath. Liz seems to be an upper crust Goth girl who comes from the stereotypical caricature of old money, with parents who only can relate to the kids that follow their same pathway. I found it distracting that the author went on in the first 4 chapters repeatedly about where she went to school - both Brown and Yale are private, liberal arts colleges, just like Williams. Williams is much smaller, but just as elite. No parent who had a child who went there would be disappointed. Overall, this book is not unlike many that has come before it - dark billionaire capture fantasy parsed out over three installments when it should have been one book. I hope the next one has more substance.

Great book for the songs included, but some great ones left out

This book has plenty of great Paul McCartney songs, but also (in my opinion) plenty of duds. Naturally, with a catalog as large as Paul McCartney's, this is bound to happen. Some of the songs sound just delightful on solo guitar, while others don't sound very good with guitar alone (Tug of War and Pipes of Peace come to mind).

The songs that are included are well presented, with small chord diagrams at the beginning of each song, and chord names written above the lyrics. Some will complain that it's not spiral bound, this is a legitimate complaint but not something that bothers me a tremendous amount. Most songs are contained to two facing pages, so you can use two paperweights to hold it open while you play.

Plenty of playable songs for a relative beginner.

I've been playing less than a year and found this Paul McCartney chord book full of songs that I can work on and play fairly easily on my own. All the chord diagrams are there for each song, which is nice. I hope they have another volume of his songs because some of my personal favorites were missing. I'm anxious to try other books in this series.

About the Author
Nick Baker has been involved in the great sport of competitive swimming since 1961. He swam competitively for eleven years, coached club for twenty-one years, and has coached swim camps exclusively for the past eighteen years. He started his coaching career in Canada in 1972, then moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, in 1993 to operate a swim camp there. In 1995 Nick published 101 Winning Ways, a motivational book for competitive swimmers. The material for the book came from observing the winning ways of successful swimmers he coached. Nick cofounded the original Peak Performance Swim Camp in 1996. In 2005 he branched out on his own and founded the present-day version. Since then Nick has traveled throughout the United States and abroad, conducting his holistic camps and clinics. Past international locations include: Antigua, Aruba, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, China, Curacao, England, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Singapore, Spain, Turkey, and Venezuela. Past US locations include: Alabama, Alaska, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Peak Performance Swim Camp currently offers more than two dozen swim camps and clinics annually including clinics for triathletes and master swimmers. More than 800 swimmers from over 30 countries participated in 2011. Private coaching as well as start, stroke, and turn video analysis are also available throughout the year. Nick has been a featured writer in Swimming World magazine and presented at numerous coaching clinics throughout the world. He also acts as a consultant to various swim teams including the Greenwich YMCA in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Missing some important elements

As mentioned by others, there is no table of contents. Didn't really seem like a big deal, but, in the Kindle version, having a table of contents would be very helpful - especially since the author continually references other parts of the book. It takes a long time to find something when you literally have to go page by page.

And, for a book that puts a big emphasis on technical proficiency, having images would be a big help. You can explain things all you want, but when some of those explanations contradict, having pictures would help to clarify what is meant. For example, when looking at the 5 lines of the body, it is noted that hand entry is at the shoulder line. Then later, the author says that the hand enters the water in front of the shoulder. Images might help clarify where the author thinks the hands should actually enter the water. If you are a less experienced coach, you may not have a good idea of many of the things the author describes.

Most, if not all, of the content in the book is available at the book's website. I feel like a chump for paying for the information, when I could have just read it online. The website could add value by having videos of many of the topics covered. Instead, the author tells the reader to find their own videos that show proper technique. Call me crazy, but if the reader doesn't know the proper technique, it is possible for them to select videos of improper technique.

For someone new to coaching swimming, this book could be confusing and incomplete. For someone with experience coaching swimming, they probably know most of the concepts, whether they agree with all of his teachings or not.

Great book! The Swimming Triangle transends swimming to any competitive situation.

Coach Baker has written a true gem. His holistic approach to Competitive Swimming could be applied to any sport. The importance of mental training is overlooked at all levels of sport, and his Mental Conditioning chapter has addressed many stumbling blocks that can be overcome with straight forward thought and introspection. The information presented in the technical section is cutting edge. He has many effective ways that are easy to coach, and easy to remember and implement by swimmers of all ability levels. I truly believe that any novice coach could successfully coach a team by just following this book. Parents of swimmers should also be interested in this book because it could fill in any gaps that are not currently being addressed by their coaches. In competitive swimming being the fastest is king, but the life skills outlined in the book go far beyond the pool, to being great at whatever you choose to do in life.
